Issues getting students to talk…mathematically? This session will focus on implementing low-floor, high-ceiling tasks designed to engage all students through implementation of the 5 practices for orchestrating strong mathematical discussions and Derivita's SpotCheck. Attendees will leave this session ready to deploy these strategies in their next class. Attendees will be entered into a drawing for Derivita swag! Come prepared to participate!
