Think Make Create (TMC) Labs build critical thinking and other “future ready” skills with fun, hands-on, inquiry-based STEM activities. Critical thinking helps students excel in all academic areas, and employers say it is one of the essential “soft” skills lacking in today’s workforce. By building these skills in our students from an early age, we equip them to succeed in school and the workplace. TMC Labs’ activity guide—covering art and design, electronics and engineering topics—promotes the development of critical thinking through tinkering and making from a young age. TMC Labs professional development sessions equips educators to incorporate cross-cutting concepts and science and engineering practices into these STEM activities.
